District Heating Scheme

Commercial District Heating Scheme

District Heating Systems enable several buildings to benefit from one central point of heating

District Heating Systems, also known as heat networks, deliver heat generated from one centralised location, through a series of insulated pipes to multiple buildings including offices, factories, warehouses and any other type of premises.

Centralised district heating plants can provide higher efficiencies and better pollution control than the large number of localized boilers it replaces.

Multiple heat sources can be used to produce the heat generated, including fossil fuels, biomass, geothermal, heat pumps and solar.
